Jury Service...

11 posts in this topic

Can you believe it, they seem to think I'm sensible enough to do Jury Service at the Crown Courts...I was bricking it when I saw the letter, thought I'd been done for speeding or caught up in that Yew Tree operation...Phew...

Has anyone else had the pleasure... I'm quite looking forward to it, just worried it may last longer than 2 weeks.... (2weeks before Cadwell).

Can't believe il be heading onto Deans turf...;-)

Take a book to read. There will probably be loads of hanging around. And pray you don't get a fraud trial - boring snoring.

Scatty - I did this about 10 years ago and I would throughly recommend you do it!

I was lucky and had a really interesting case but it's one of life's experiences and I would definitely do it!

I did it last year. Really enjoyed it. It was a very interesting case. I think they had an abundance of jury members as they said I want needed for the second week after our case ended. I can imagine if you drop on something that want quite so interesting it could be hard work though.
