A guy turned up to the Midlands Meet last year in an S2 when we got chatting he said he'd had Caterhams for years but when he got to 76 needed something easier to get in and out of!

 

Did point him in this direction but not sure whether he ever registered

Could I be the oldest 111R driver - born in '52, bus pass due in 4 months. and I haven't got a bald spot - or a flat cap. I can even get in and out without taking the roof off

my mate is 78 years old and drives a honda elise ,also compete's in sprints and hillclimbs and has done so in his elise for about 5 years he does about 16 events a year ,and before that he used his westfield and he aint slow either
