DeanB Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 Scatty you could have that charged honda beast and get a pushbike for work. That way you'll get fitter too. Sorted.
jimbo07g41 Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 Looks like you will be fine, if you dont go backwards. To be serious, you need clear history with a converted car, otherwise you might be buying a load of trouble usualy serious. You want to know who converted it and what has been done since conversion. Looking at the pics, its not a Lotus Kit but a copy. Hence cracks and ill fit clams. You need a proper s1 Exige with VHPD. Would hold money and make such a burble. I think I could build that car for 10-15k,
John FISH Curtis Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 Sod my previous comments, I hear Gav isnt busy and that S1 copy Exige will keep him busy for years.
scatty Posted June 21, 2013 Author Posted June 21, 2013 Poor lads always busy... At the gravy train also known as the HGF express.....
G Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 Scatty, your Exige is stunning, a supercharger kit could be the answer as people say. M@rk's car is very quick, have you had chance to look over it at one of the breakfast runs? 260 / 270 hp might scratch your itch????
Alex B Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 Who deals with sector111 in the uk? They do a 300bhp kit if that isn't enough to make scatty go weak at the knees he a lost cause
jimbo07g41 Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 I think I agree with the rest of the chaps. Your car is awesome and you would not be getting anything better for the same kind of money as that elise with a kit. Evolution with yawn control...great bit of kit, but really? hanger 111...
scatty Posted June 21, 2013 Author Posted June 21, 2013 An RS version please Jamie. I do have a bit of self respect, just ... ;-) I think I'd change for an "s" rather than mod mine. At least I'd get a newer car etc....or get a komotec already done. Need to flog mine before I do anything....
Dr H Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 Whatever you do don't have a go in a SC Honda Elsie / Exige......... I did and it cost me more money than I can ever admit too! Come round and have a go in mine it's only 380hp but it does go quite well
a7esk Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Whatever you do don't have a go in a SC Honda Elsie / Exige......... I did and it cost me more money than I can ever admit too! Come round and have a go in mine it's only 380hp but it does go quite well I went out in Matin Edwards Exige and wow it ticks all the boxes don't go for a test drive .
scatty Posted June 22, 2013 Author Posted June 22, 2013 it's only 380hp but it does go quite well That's just greedy.... :-)
DeanB Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 3...8...0...? Omg. That's more than three times what I have... Does it spin the wheels in third and that sort of craziness?
