Xtremelangy Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 I have a GoPro camera as well and I really don't like the video you end up with when the camera is mounted to the harness bar. It's almost as though the camera has too wide an angle of vision. 2/3rds of the picture is the back of helmets, I think it makes the video very 'dark'. I also have a mount fixed where the rear view mirror would be, but you don't get to see any driver input, which again is only so good. I've been trying to work out where else to mount it, but haven't found an ideal position. Good video's nevertheless. Not too sure if I would want to be on track during a 'test day' though.
Jasonp1980 Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 Great video some committed driving too.. So Xtreme I mount my gopro to side windows with plunger, then gaffer tape over plunger for extra security in case of failure. I think this gives a good compromise.
