Xtremelangy Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Any idea on the best place / method of mouting these? I've been trying to think where, but can't quite figure it out.
Meister Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Any idea on the best place / method of mouting these? I've been trying to think where, but can't quite figure it out. I am going to use that heavy duty velcro (3M) and mount it just under the 'cargo net' on the 'back shelf' my car is a series 2. Mark
M@r]{ Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Because its cylindrical shape there won't be much of a contact area so I'm not sure velcro will be sufficient? (got visions of it flying forward in the event of an emergency stop, the top snapping off and it whizzing around the car in a cartoon fashion )

Out of interest do you have any ideas on where were you planning to put yours and how were you going to secure it? Mark

wozza Posted May 24, 2013 Author Posted May 24, 2013 Ok Guys - an update for you, everyone has now paid and supplied postal details I placed the order on Wednesday, but I got given the incorrect IBAN number for the payment, so it bounced around for a couple of days - I have now sent the payment again to the correct IBAN and have had confirmation that it has been received - now just waiting for them to be dispatched / arrive, not sure how long this will take, but I will keep you informed. 1. Elaine Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Do these have a shelf life? Dan did the same group buy a few years ago and I bought 2. Will only need more if they have a 'use-by' date. Ones I've had in the past seem to have a 3-4 year "use-by" date... Is it printed on them? Guess I'd better dig one out and have a look! Yeap, typically on the base if mine is anything to go by... I bought one back then as well... Can't see any expiry date on it, think I'll drop them an email. Better safe, than sorry. EDIT: Just found this on their pdf.... 'MANGIAFUOCO does not require any maintenance, it has no expiration date, it is always ready to use and unique among the flame inhibitors.' http://www.mangiafuoco.biz/download/RASSEGNA_STAMPA.GB.pdf
