It was from lwsdesigns. He makes the moulds from genuine lotus parts, I have a boot lid on order next :) the guy is a bit if a lotus nut, he's just purchased a 111S for the company, and has a S1 elise for his own car currently under going Audi turbo conversion with full carbon motorsport body.

The roof is a prefect fit. He has them up on eBay for 1500 each including genuine lotus fitting kit, which is 350 to 600 depending if you buy the front and back trim/clamp panels (I haven't as there isn't any need, and I will be getting my own front trim panel/ clamp made up.)

It looks mint :)

Been on a track day and other than a couple of Clio sports I was the cheapest car :/

Was mega though, 15ish cars, 15min sessions of 6 or 7 cars at a time, had loads of time on track.

This picture is also the LWS Carbon roof, My car is having some work done by LWS and will be adding quite a few carbon goodies but biggest change coming in the summer will be the 1.8T Audi Engine going in.

Hope to start a build thread for this :-)

I havent ordered the fittings for the roof as yet but this was the same roof as above just resting on top of the car to see what it looks like while waiting for the trims to arrive :-)

The roof was not clamped down in these photos hence why it is slightly proud...

Haha, fittings cost a fair bit, I'll hopefully be having some more bits n pieces off of them. Roof fits lovely once all bolted down. Hoping a boot lid is the next purchase, had a look round the workshop while I was there.

Have you seen Lewis's S1?

He said he'd recently purchased a storm titanium 111s for the business.

Great to meet you at Goodwood today Alex, your roof looked pretty decent.

Thanks for the pax laps for my father in law - he really enjoyed it (considering he's never actually been out in my car, I was quite surprised). He thought your late breaking rather alarming at first though! lol

Thanks also to your uncle for the ride in his Exige - bloody quick thing that 240S!

No problem Jon, I hope his with me wasnt too horrifying.

Yes the 240S is seriously quick, got back after today wash the cars done and noticed his front disc's have some hairline cracks in them, so new discs and pads are required.

Your car is very nice and incredibly clean.

It's even cleaner now! When we got back I spent 3 1/2 hours, washing, clay-ing, waxing and polishing the car! So now it is super shiny!

(Like those people who came over to us, you wouldnt think it was A.) 12 years old, or B.) used as a daily commute! I quite like the look on people's faces when you tell them that lol

Glad you found the peob with your Uncle's brakes after I'd been in it doing 130mph down Lavant straight!!! wacko.png

Haha, just happened to notice a tiny (about 1/2mm) crack heading out from on of the holes while washing the wheels down. Was a little suprised to be honest.

I wouldn't worry about a small surface cracks that small. When I had drilled disks i had the same and spoke to lotus sport about it and they said not to worry. I must admit when they needed replacing I did go grooved instead though.
