DeanB Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 Mark what type was it? And how did it fail? I saw it at Unit4 when the clam was off before and thought that's handy, he won't have to worry about his radiator failing!

It was the 'motorsport' upgrade alloy radiator Triple bypass 2ZZ ( according to the receipt ) fitted by Lotus dealer Bell & Colvill in Jan 2011. I won't know exactly the what has happened until Gav gets the clam off. Symptom - Driving home from Gav's when I heard a 'pop' and got coolant all over the windscreen! Mark Dean - I have asked Gav to fit the standard Elise parts alloy radiator - not the Triple bypass after this experience. Mark
DeanB Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 Maybe its just a hose. Would be a lot cheaper. One failed on mine and I fitted an Eliseparts silicon replacement. Maybe worth fitting them anyway if you have the clam off.
