2Bular Or Not 2Bular

So after 12 years of use, 90k miles, SORN'd for 9 months, and commuting up and down the country every weekend for 2 years, my near side tail pipe finally gave up the ghost last night!

Corroded through from the inside and the cowling is just hanging off, looking quite sorry for itself!

So, I now have to find a replacement PDQ.

Looking at the price of the Elise Parts sports exhaust and the 2bular single pipe system, they seem fairly equally priced. Obviously they differ in many ways, especially in looks, but what are people's opinion of the two systems. Would there be a slight gain from the 2bular over the Sports exhaust? What about noise levels for track days and long journeys?

Opinions welcome... [opens can of worms]

Jon I bought the Hangar111 single exit for mine, on the basis it seemed to be the lightest. It sounds nice and burbly but not too loud. I am very happy with it.

Everyone also says good things about 2bular too. I reckon those three are all good quality, so maybe volume and sound quality are the determining features?

i have the 2bular. It doesn't look that much different to the one dean has. Maybe slightly less girth so to speak...

But it is very quiet... Perfect for track, and it looks rather sexy i must say...

Got to be 2Bular, it's the only way to Rock!

Does anyone know if Signiture is basically rebadged Quicksilver stuff? Just curious.

Thanks all, I'll have a look at the hanger 111 exhausts tomorrow.

Any photos of these installed would be interesting to see. As I have a 2001 K series which has the 1 part diffuser and the wire mesh grilles either side of the number plate panel I want to keep the central panel but don't mind removing the two grilles.

I have the hangar signiture system , i chose it over 2bular, a few weeks after i fitted it i got chance to see and hear the 2bular system on an identical car and it convinced me id made the right choice , think i saved about £150 too !!

Thanks Ian, what was it that convinced you?

My car will be used for commuting so I don't want anything too loud, and I don't want to be limited to 105db track days either.

I have a tail of woe when it comes to a Hanger111 exhaust & manifold. Since then I have bought three full systems off Jim and have been able to tailor everything to my personal taste including noise Jon.

Hey Jonny, I've been on the receiving end of a bad experience when I'd only ever saw good reviews of this particular garage, be interested to hear what your issue was.
