You really ought to buy it back....I can tell you're pining for it really!

I've never seen my first Elise up for sale.....oh hang on a minute......I've still got it unsure.png

Yes its about time you sold it Phil ! I'm still looking for a Type 49 in the 'proper' colours to park next to STMBOs blue version. It's just not fair that she gets to drive around in her footy club colours & I dont. ** Note to self - should never have sold my Elan Sprint!

Hi Andrew, Can't imagine I'd ever sell mine while ever I'm still able to haul myself in and out of it. I'm sure you'll manage to find one at a bargain price to add to your collection. Have you still got the orange S2 I remember seeing you in at the Pilsley Club Lotus meet the other year?

I'm on the market for an S2 atm and i've been in touch with this seller.

If I did go for this one I'd have to lose the wheels and interior bling.

I asked him the value of the OZ wheels but he has no idea what they're worth.

Wheels are very rare and go from anything between £600-800 a set.

Yes I've still got it Phil but I'm looking to sell it as it was always a stop gap till the right Type 49 became available. Its a beautiful car and a bit special being a Bell & Colvell 160 but I just love the Type 49s and if I'm honest I regret selling my Elan Sprint to finance it. The Esprit S4S should be unleashed back onto the road soon after a gearbox rebuild so that may quell my selling fever. Treated STMBO to a 'Buzzbomb' aka a Suzuki Cappuccino for her 50th so really need some drive space.

Why would you lose the wheels?

If you do buy it and don't want them give me a shout!

Not surprised at that price; looks like a great car.

And... I got myself a set of OZ wheels yesterday!!

*not from that car.

Ooo nice, looking forward to seeing pics of them on the car.

Hope the car has gone to a good owner - lots of good memories of that car :)

Laura is thinking of the time I asked her to get out and push the car when we got stuck in a muddy field. Lol
