Thought id check the oil today, little bit of mayo on the stick. 1st dip: 2nd dip small amount of mayo under the cap too. Coolant is clean. Its been stood around in the rain all christmas whilst ive done all four wheel bearings. Is condensation too much to ask for? After a week off the road i drove 3 10 min journeys, and 2 40 min journeys before noticing it this morning. sigh... ollie

jimbo07g41 Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 Fingers crossed for you mate. I have just replaced camshaft seals and the timing belt. Had a whine afterwards that turned out to be the alternator. I hope this is not the case, but I have tended to see condensation at the highest point. However if you have had it parked up for ages it might have been quite bad.

Alex B Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 Driving through kegworth toward Loughborough, running lovely then noticed temp had gone up to 119deg C pulled over, no water in header tank. Checked oil via filler and dip stick, looks like milk. Had it just shy of 2 months. Rang Christopher Neil should be going back mid to end of week
