Looking good Jonny.

When you took the front mounts for the oil coolers off, have you added other mounting points for the front clam. I'm sure that the clam rested on them and a bolt from the bottom of the headlight enclosure goes into the GRP bits off the side of the front crash box.

Are you leaving the carbon doors unpainted?

I'm not sure I can post anymore pics to show you but the bottom of the clam is mounted to the splitter. 6 bolts across the top of the clam, 4 across the bottom, the two side aero catch 3's and (not yet) auto marine plugs separating the headlight and indicator wires.

The splitter is bolted to the crash structure along with those 4 stays two coming off each side and one each side again under the radiator.

The doors yea I just can't paint them. Lambo grey and Kawascatty Green......maybe :-)

That's ok and makes sense making the splitter structual.

I'm sure you'd like carbon clams to match the doors, but they seem mega money.

I don't understand anything you have posted, but I know it will be fabulous!!!!!

I do love how you stick to your n/a values! Roll on the new year I say!!! Kawascatty, ha ha!!!!

One out of two was best I could do :-)

Gave my interior another go, better with alcantara, fitted AIM MXL dash with gearbox, oil temp sensors and pressure.

Jon, you dont do things by half do you :) Interesting the little cut outs on the engine firering area. This is to allow for the valves to clear i presume? What are you expecting the engine to produce?

Always learning Martin, cheers mate.

I'm going to be realistic and say 220bhp with a 9k rev limit. The compression has risen to 12.5. It'll be on a bench dyno in January, I can't wait! Should be fitted by mid Feb with a little more work to do.

reminds me of nasa lunar lander with all that lovely gold foil :-)

I know, I do like a little bit of bling :-)

9K rev limited. That should make a wonderful noise. Do me a favour a put some DTHTB on it eventually. Now that would sound special smile.png

Bloody hell Jonny thought you'd been a bit quiet lately!!!

Awesome stuff going on there :)

Will have to pop over to see it when you get the engine back!!! :)
