lummo Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 We went to Top Gear Live today, at the NEC. I know they're a bit "love 'em or hate 'em", but I really enjoyed it. Judging by the amount of laughing my kids were doing, I'm sure they did too. If you like the TV show, you'll love the live show too. My eldest said afterwards that he was impressed by how they managed to get all the elements of the TV show in there. Expensive, but good fun. Anyone else go?
John FISH Curtis Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 I went the first year they did it....... never been back. Maybe its better now?

lummo Posted October 25, 2012 Author Posted October 25, 2012 There was talk in the paper of some dangerous stunt Clarkson was going to do. What was it????? They play a silly game where they sling-shoot a car on castors into some other scrap cars to score points (with Clarkson & May in the cars). I thought it was rather funny. They did make some comments afterwards about newspaper stories claiming they don't do their own stunts (which they quite clearly were doing). There were plenty of other stunts too (I was particularly impressed with the guys on pogo-sticks), plus lots of explosions, things on fire & soldiers firing guns at Jezzer. I know it's all a bit purile, but I still think it's great entertainment.
