Warwickshire Convoy

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

For Chatsworth next week are there any planned convoys from the Warwickshire area?

I don't have a sat nav and am generally rubbish with geography so I'll probably get lost and end up in London!

I'm Nuneaton way so travelling up with a few cars would be ideal

I'm most likely to be heading to the last break point of the run, to join the convoy to Chatsworth, because I'll be bringing my little 18month old hopefully, so dont want too early a start- Graham, do you wanna meet somewhere en route?

Hi Jon

That's an idea yes. I haven't actually looked at any of the run details so I have no idea where to meet it or what time to be there for. What were you planning?

Leg 1 starts at 7.30!

Get up early, you know it will be worth it for the extra driving on the quietest roads. Joining us at the end of leg 1 will be tricky, as that will only be a 5 minute stop, and you will need to sign on.

Go on go on go on go on go on.....

I'd love to do the whole run Dean, but if I want to bring my little boy along, getting him up at 5am is not the best way to start his day! :D

Graham, looking to get to the Hassop Station Cafe for around 10ish so that means leaving Kidderminster at 8, and doing something like this: http://goo.gl/maps/dd5C or could go south around Brum up to Sutton Coldfield, along the A38 to Derby and up, like this: http://goo.gl/maps/dB3N

What do you think?

I'm still not sure if I can make it on Sunday or not.

If I do go, I'll either be going to Hassop or straight to Chatsworth. I might give you a shout to see if you're going via Sutton Coldfield.

What time did you plan on leaving Mr Fox? I may try and keep up with you if you don't mind?

There's nothing quite like the sweet smell of exhaust fumes early on a Sunday morning.

Cheers

Paul
