Hammered Posted July 20, 2012 Author Posted July 20, 2012 Sorry guys yes it's a write off. Absolutely gutted about it. Even though I have a profit in excess of 3k. Could have bought it back for 4k. Still wish I had. The search is on again with a 16.5k max budget. Unfortunatly I guess due to it being mid summer there's not much to choose from at the moment. Getting such a bargain first time around it may well take some time.

Hammered Posted July 20, 2012 Author Posted July 20, 2012 It's was just financial, 2 repairers quoted one with 9k the other a lotus approved body shop 15.5k to repair. I reckon I could have got 2nd hand bits and some new upgrade parts for 3k done mechanics myself 1k on paint would have myself a lovely car for 8k. But sadly I haven't the time at the moment. Real Shame loved everything about the car colour wheels sports exhaust condition it needed nothing.....boohoo !!! Sure I'll feel the same for the next one when It finds me... Bugger
