When I went over to the Caterham tents they were busy bashing a radiator with a mallet. Thought that was quite apt for Lotus/Caterham!

I have got a few on my Wifes DSLR and will try and upload some when I get a chance.

 

Not sure they will be up to your picture quality! The mallet did have Caterham stamped on the end.

Great photos there, really must try and go one year. Lotus stand looks really impressive with some very good looking cars indeed.

I managed to take about 2 photos - wrestling 2 little ones in a huge crowd is not conducive to photography! Great pics, Jon!

 

Anyone make it up to the rally stage? We never made it as the tractors weren't running Saturday and I wasn't going to push a pram all the way up but there is usually some great antics to watch.

I didn't manage to get to the rally stage, despite wanting to. It was a complete struggle to see anything moving all day. Got some video on my phone of Jenson Button doing some doughnuts but I had to stand on tip toes to see it. Disappointed by the event as whole. A victim of its own success.

 

Loved to see the cars in the paddocks and get right up close to them, but could see bugger all of the hill climb, in fact, the best photo I took all day was of the Lotus F1 car going up the hill. Great shot of the car, side on, in focus, complete with 3 burly marshals standing right between me and the car!!

 

If you do go, and can afford it, get a grandstand ticket, they were no more than half full whenever I looked! (blame the car manufacturers for giving the tickets away and people not using the seats).

 

...and lets not get started on the £6.50 they wanted for a plain burger in a bap with onions!
