I have £100 of EliseParts vouchers

Improved brakes

Reduced Unsprung weight

 

 

Will they work with GreenStuff pads (untill I replace them)?

Are your current discs down to their limit ?

 

If not I would change the pads from EBC. I doubt you would feel any difference changing the discs and staying with the EBC pads.

If you change to decent pads you will notice a huge difference.

 

CL5's are awesome.

If you want a cheaper option than the CLs mintex 1144s are good. I bet Carbon Lorraines are better though.

I have a few sets of part used pagid rs14 pads if you want to see what the difference from greenstuff is.

I've got the Ali belled discs. Not sure how much difference they made but they worked really well when I fitted them and put the SBS pads on at the same time (no longer available).

Greenstuff fade too fast, change the pads.

I am supprised people do not change from standard sold discs to lighter versions.......... I have yet to find an Elise owner say Ali bells are better or they could notice a difference with them being lighter

Elise Parts Alubells are superb and look even better; I use them with Mintex 1144 for road use - bin the Green Stuff!!!

Have just ordered 4x Ultimax Turbo Discs.

 

Just need to SWAP THE EXISTING PADS

Funny thing is that I have never had a fade issue on track with Greenstuff, but would agree that the feedback on them is very poor. Certainly worth a change to something else before an ali disk option though, to see if that gives you what you're after.
