wozza
I found that i would get them balanced and they would be fine but then over about 1000 miles they would slowly go out of balance again. What i did find was that sometimes the tyres were slipping on the rims. I wouldn't have been able to tell apart from my local tyre place lines up the yellow circle/dot to the valve to help lower the amount of balancing needed. After a while i noticed that the yellow circle was about an inch or two further around the tyre !! Not had the same problem with 888's Some tyres are supposed to be fitted like that - the dot indicates the lightest point on the tyre - it should be fitted adjacent to the valve as it is usually the heaviest point on the wheel. However from what I can gather some manufactures mark the heavy point (not the light point) on the tyre so the dot / dots should be opposite the valve.
