Mark H Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 To get MLOC on your Iphone you can of course use the standard safari web browser, there is however another way: Goto here: http://itunes.apple....d372597645?mt=8 And download the free app Add MLOC as a site, the URL should be: Enter your username/password and then when you login you should get: You can also set push notifications from the app and from the browser by going to, "my settings": "Notification Options" and then choosing the mobile tick boxes on the right hand side. Points to note * This hasn't been tested yet * An app for Android is coming soon * You can just use your mobile browser on any phone *The IPad is currently supported in a beta form.
Mark H Posted June 25, 2010 Author Posted June 25, 2010 If you get a bad url error message, just try again and it seems to load up ok.
chris_h Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 thats what mloc looks like on my android Desire anyway so why does it need an app?. With mobile web viewing on it uses the blue cut down version that fits the screen perfectly.
surrealillusions Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 I use Opera Mini on my Samsung running Andriod. And it kinda figures out its owm mobile version which is pretty good. Although it doesn't look like the above, I do get a list of the main menu, sign in/register/view content/ lotus of the month, latest 5 forum posts, online users, latest blog entries, latest files, random gallery image, calender, website polls, latest discussions then the footer. A fair bit but its readable and laid out nicely.
Mark H Posted February 8, 2011 Author Posted February 8, 2011 Updated the forum to fix problems people have been having with this app, all should work fine now including notifications and uploading images etc.
