Very nice Greg, they will look great in your car. At least they are waterproof too as your Elise doesnt seem to have a roof whenever I see it :)

Finally got the seats in :D

I had a go at fitting them last monday. I took the drivers seat out, bolted on the new runners to the new seat, attached the belts/harnesses and attempted to bolt it in. I couldn't get the runners to line up with the holes for the bolts  In the end i had to put the original seat back in and call for help in the name of Martin R :)

Well we had a go at fitting them on sunday. He checked first the alignment of the holes and sure enough they didn't line up. But he was able to adjust the angle of the runners so that they would line up. It was then a relatively simple job of tightening them up, attaching to the seat and then fitting. The passenger seat went in a lot easier.

So a BIG THANKS to Martin :notworthy::notworthy::notworthy:

I owe you a curry and a few beers

Here's a few piccies of the finished article.

They seem quite firm and supportive from the quick sit in them i had. Im glad i swapped to a real mans S2 after seeing all the carpet Gregs got in his :notworthy::)

Greg, they look awesome! A good investment! Now, when are you next on track with your "racing seats" :)

On another note, what are you doing with your old ones, I have my old ones taking up space here (along with doorcards) and often contemplate selling them.

Their going up in my loft Dan. That way if i ever decided to sell the car, i could stick the original seats back in and then sell the motorsport seats separately.

As far as going on track is concerned, i keep on looking at lot, but work are a bit funny these days with booking days off despite having the spare leave.
