CHOPPA Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Just collected mine from the post office. Beautifully wrapped and DO NOT BEND instructions for Mr Postie - well done Jon! Calendar looks great! FIVE PICTURES - for me! September, November and 3 on the 2009 in pictures page. My little battered point & shoot has done me proud. Thanks very much to all who put it together, it looks great. Already transferred all the info from the SELOC calendar and hung the MLOC one on top of it

JonS Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Jon are you just a hooligan or did you photoshop out the trolley jacks Great photo Nope, all Jon's own work! Harvey, not sure if you noticed, but I accidentally misspelled the label on your envelope, it was after midnight and I was tired, I accidentally wrote Do No Bed I did correct it, but it did look a bit obvious! yep got mine and despite the do not bend the royal mail had put a nice elastic band round it to fold it in half. This is really annoying! I may as well just write Do Not Read This Label!

dobbo Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Taken back to the sorting office, have to wait 48hrs before collecting At least it wasn't left folded in half in the letterbox like the EliseTrophy one - having ignored the "do not bend", at least the postie might have pushed it right through instead of leaving it folded for 8 hours until I got home.....
jonathan eco man Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Thanks John and Co for the calender ...great to see my car on the back page ..well chuffed ..fame at last !!

CHOPPA Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Still waiting for my £50 Choppa! Me? Pay you?? What an earth for? I've realised that I've missed my calling. I think I need to set up a calendar production company. I think I will start on Lotus models and move onto female models
Balboa Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Jon are you just a hooligan or did you photoshop out the trolley jacks Great photo Harvey Photo was taken at the Help for Heroes charity track day that was held at the MOD Bovingdon test track. A mini Nurberg ring, 4.5 miles through the Dorset woods and scrub land with no run off areas anywhere. If you saw the Top Gear program where Clarkson was in a White Mitsubishi (or Scooby can never differentiate) being chased by the army in tanks and big trucks it's the same track as the opening footage. The particular bend in the photograph was an almost 90 deg left hander with a massive drop off over a concrete lip hence being airborne. 4 cars written off on the day due to the lack of run off areas, trees, concrete post and metal bars. One BMW new shape M3, Mazda MX5, Peugeot 205 and Scooby I had a great day though
PeterField Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Mine arrived today! ...and nicely in one piece still thanks to some great packaging (cheers Jon!). Big thanks to Dave and Jon for putting so much effort into this, it really is seriously good (...and March has always been a good month ). To anybody who's not yet purchased one, get one bought.....it's a steal at only a tenner!
