STRaNGe BReW
So ok its highly unlikely that it will fit in the boot but............... How much gear can you get in the Elise? Any special luggage available to fit the boot area? I,m not up for fitting a luggage rack so thats out of the question. and who does the packing Cheers Andy S

Fiona
Just pack in plastic bags and it makes things a lot easier.
JonS
Seriously, soft bags & rucksacks and careful engineered placement and all of this will go in my S2 boot! We had to fit everything in the boot to be able to take the roof off and store that behind the seats! It's hard to believe, but it's true!
Ladders
Surprising how much you can get behind just the seats! I've gone away for the weekend and packed all my stuff behind the seats so that the entire boot is left for my girlfriend Why is it that they have to take a hairdryer and straighteners EVERYWHERE! Also quite a bit of room if you stuff it all above the footrest
JonS
I've gone away for the weekend and packed all my stuff behind the seats To be fair, for a weekend, that can just consist of a spare pair of boxers and a pair of socks Also quite a bit of room if you stuff it all above the footrest Above the footrest? We used the second foot rest area to store spare sandles for the wife (her legs dont reach that far down the footwell)
G
Or you could just wear all your clothes and take a layer off per day??? layzeedude
How do the boot sizes on the S1 and S2 compare? Would I get that lot JonS pictured in my S1?
kimbo
Apparently you don't need to fit a hairdryer/straighteners in if you drive an S1
JonS
I think the opening is smaller on an S1, and you do have the boot lock in the way IIRC? But generally would have thought you'd get most of it in.
Smiley Chenit
ALSO YOU'VE GOT EXTRA SPACE IN A S1 IN THE FRONT IF YOU PLACE ITEMS BEHIND THE LINING... SURE I'VE HEARD SOMEBODY MENTION THAT BEFORE?!
