What a great day and nice to see and speak to a whole bunch of people again. I can't wait to see the aerial shots and the ones from that van that was there.

I only have one small issue with the day, I've seen a pic of Darren posing with Con's car, and one of him posing with Miles' car. My car was in-between these two and no pic of him posing with the nicest one! We both have red Polo's Darren, we're supposed to be buddies!!!!

Oh, and whoever saw Steve kiss me, yes, I'm as worried as you lot are about that one! I've had nightmares!!!

Thanks to everyone who turned up and also everyone who helped out, the biggest thanks you goes to Sonya for all the hard work and organising she put in! Top work!

Sorry we kept you waiting so long but it was out of our hands as they helicopter company were doing us a cheap deal for the shot so we couldn't really complain

The photos I have seen on Snappers camera look brilliant so it will be good to see them full size

Totally agree, Sonya you did an amazing job - I did love the way you blew your whistle and everyone just went silent!!

He's never kissed me  and we've been to France together (twice) - must be because you are SLIGHTLY younger than me or perhaps he is after your Honda

I enjoyed the drive back Con what was the detour about on the A38.

Dont know I was following Choppa who I think was following another blue elise which by looks of things wasn;t going the same way as us ;)

Good fun drive home though

Well done to Sonya and everyone who organised it. Should be quite a picture when its done.

p.s. You colour blind Eddie as I'm sure the lights above the M42 were very dark orange B)

Blew her whistle ?

That was her own flesh and blood, taught by her Mum. Best not get on the wrong side of it, as it's REALLY loud close-up !

You're not wrong Chris, I was standing about 4 feet away - IT WAS LOUD

EDIT - link to gallery for the photos.

That was the quiet version, because I'm shy.......................... ;) not!

Sorry I've not posted yet, I've been busy (recovering!). It was a great event and you all did us really proud. Thanks to everyone who helped (planned help, and those who stepped in on the day). I really enjoyed myself and am so pleased that we had some many new members turn up and even some poeple who just popped along as they'd heard about it through friends.

Sorry again for all the hanging around, but it was worth it in the end....a selection of our best piccies here for you to download http://www.midlandslotus.co.uk/forum/index...=sc&cat=140. We will issue an 'official' photo with names, date and logo in a short while.

We raised £147 on the day, so thanks to those who dug deep. For those that didn't get the chance, you'll see a 'Donate' button on the top right of this page.... :) . We will use these funds to help with our Hethel exhibition and our monthly website hosting costs.

Thanks once again, you all did a great job.
