Good luck to them. I don't think Lotus give two hoots what Elise owners think as it isn't aimed at them. I'd consider it, but only as a second hand buy.

I've got my name down, for one of the second batch but not if they cost that much , god i'd need to get a mortgage? oh well I will just have to wait till the motorshow for the press conference

£6500 your having a laugh Keep with the Elise or the Exige better value in the long term plus if more dealers go how do we get these cars serviced go back to the Lotus factory.

There's all sorts of prices flying about right now for a fully spec'd version (how many people tick all the options?), with £58-65k being quoted by various dealers. Which if the base car is £45-48k, would seem about right for every box ticked.

lol, yes, they are a bit of a laugh on the current cars, reading the press release though about what will be available it's fairly easy to pick out the stuff that'll be an optional extra. Guess we'll all know for sure tomorrow though, hopefully.

I hope he does, but obviously some of the dealers don't. It already has aircon, leather etc; so what possibly could cost £25k in options?

 

If it's £40k - £45k then it might have a chance of selling a few, if it's higher then I fear they'll be twiddling their thumbs waiting for orders.
