jez o Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 Car is due a 3 year service soon- does anyone have any oil recommendations? At the moment it's purely road use but it's not a daily drive. Thinking it might be cheaper to supply my own oil. How many litres does it need and what grade? Does Oilman do any good deals? Cheers.

For daily driving, better fuel economy (less friction), go for 5/40 (I'm selling 5L of this!). Opie oils is an excellent source, and the best stuff to get is Silkolene Pro S (although Lotus recommend Mobil 1 which is more readily available). HTH
