Laura Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 Great response guys thanks. Just back from holiday (and much needed recovery period afterwards) and chuffed to see so many takers for this event. It's going to be great! We have settled on Tollerton (Nottingham) Airport and are checking dates with the owners. This will be a weekend event, run after 5pm (as last flights are often scheduled until then). It is likely to take 1-2 hours to get cars into position and then photographed to our satisfaction. We are aiming for mid August to make the best of the weather and leave time to get shots printed for Hethel weekend (14th September). Those of us who will be setting up will have access earlier in the day so we can be slick with the car ballet and photoshoot as early after airport closure as possible. More details on arrival times and arrangements to follow when we have an agreed date with Tollerton. We also have options on photography platforms (high level boom, helicopter, scaffold tower) so I think we would be able to make a great event turn into a great MLOC keepsake. Once we have a confirmed date I will finalise the rest of the details and gather volunteers to help with set up and lends. Sounds great Sonya, really looking forward to this - just hope its not when I am on holiday (19th July - 2nd August)
