GCCK
Try talking to PTP at Hinckley. They are Janspeed dealers and may even have something in stock.

DunkHSP
The manifold bit might be the same but it changes from there down i think, flexi bit and cat obviously.
sootysteve
cheers for the advice guys, ive emailed lotus, i would imagine that if they are both for the k series they would be the same.
jeffers
IIRC, they changed the manifold and downpipe on later Ks. Early ones use 4 studs and the later ones use

GCCK
EBD were thought for a long time to the best you could get for the Elise - may still be. Not cheap. Notable for long primaries for the best possible torque outputs. They are "solid" i.e. have no flexi section, so necessitate the use of an engine steady bar (adjustable bottom engine mount) to restrict engine rocking on/off power. Too much rocking can fatigue and ultimately break a solid manifold if the engine isn't properly restrained. Elise parts sell an engine steady bar. In fact, Elise Parts used to sell the EBD, but now have an alternative badged as their own. There was a little awkwardness about the changeover: suggestion of quality issues but most likely down to money... If you want the best outputs, get EBD or Eliseparts solid manifold. Or if you need better clearance around an oil cooler, try the Piper solid (Steve Butts among others can supply). If you want to retain a flexi section, and thus avoid the need for an engine steady, get the Piper flexi or Janspeed small bore.
