Hi all, I have a problem with my Elise 111s, the red Rev/shift light keeps flashing, from starting up the car to turning off, it also seems to limit itself to 4000-4200 revs in all gears, the battery light is constantly on (as is the engine light but this has been on since I changed the catalyst converter to a sports one) Does anyone have any idea what it could be? Thanks James
Hi all, Title says it all really, took a faulty battery out about 2-3 months ago and only replaced it this week. Upon starting the car the electrics were fine but the revs were eratic, replaced a fuse and worked alright, however it idles at between 1500 and 2000 and when I drive it will not go past 4000 revs Has anyone any ideas as to why this might be happening? Thanks James
Hi All, Hoping somebody could offer me some advice on the following problems; 1 - I am getting a some white drops splattering up the car, looks like its coming from the radiator, it is not a huge amount but it does happen every time i'm out in it, could this just be a split in a hose?? 2 - Really squeaky break, at slow speeds the breaks really squeak, on closer inspection they have not get any of that material on the back of the pad, could this be doing it, the pads have plenty left on them, and the discs are fine with no rust. Could it be the pads are just not positioned correctly? 3 - While i am driving there is a constant sound of air (like there is a window down while driving a normal car on the motorway) interestingly, this gets louder or quieter depending if i have the wheels turning or not, so this one has completely baffled me! Thanks for any help James
