  1. Looks great. Wasn’t for sale long and only 2 Elise Cups for sale on either AT or Pistonheads now.
  2. Thanks for the tips. The undertray bolt suggestion is interesting. I was wondering whether a stone or something has been trapped on top of the tray. Didn’t think about the bolts themselves. I’ll jack it up and have a look this weekend. If that doesn’t fix it I think the passenger seat needs to come out.
  3. Soft top at the minute. Happens with roof on and off.
  4. Hello, So my 1300 mile Cup 250 has a very annoying constant rattle coming from the passenger side. It sounds like it’s under the footwell or seat (though very hard to pin point, could be the dash 😃). It’s there whether you’re doing 5 mph or 50 mph. Any pointers/common rattles before I take the car to pieces to find it? Thanks
  5. You could always look at an outdoor Carcoon for winter storage? Would only work if you intended not to use it for a period of time though as taking it in and out each day would be a pain. https://www.carcoon.com/carcoon-airflow-systems/carcoon-double-skin-outdoor#intro
  6. Thanks. Yes I understand stand alone track day cover is around 1% of value of the car. People really pay that? With the cost of insurance and the track day you’re getting on for a grand a day. Maybe I can’t afford track days then 🤑
  7. Hi, I’m after insurance that covers track days but don’t know what a reasonable cost would be. For a benchmark a years premium with my current insurer Directline is £281. The cheapest on Compare the market is £240. So cheap in my opinion. This is for insurance on a 2021 Elise Cup 250, I’m 40, live in Belper, 5000 miles per year. Obviously Directline et al. don’t cover track days so I’ve been ringing round the specialist insurers. So far - Henderson Taylor - wouldn’t quote as the car isn’t garaged (it’s under a carport on the drive). REIS - £977 includes 6 track days UK
  8. Thanks! Thanks for the info Jonny. Your car looks awesome. Would be great to have a listen to yours at a meet in the future - a 2bular manifold and cat interest me for a future upgrade.
  9. Thanks and thanks for the info on exhausts and roofs. I’ll try and get on some runs to have a listen to the different exhausts. I shall definitely try and get along to Lotus in the Peak as well. Been enjoying the last couple of days of nice weather in it. Because it’s so small and well damped it’s increased the amount of good roads available in Derbyshire massively. Roads you’d avoid as being too narrow and bumpy in a normal car are now fair game!
  10. Hello, I’ve been a member on here since 2003 back when I had a S1 Sport 135 Elise. I attended a couple of meets, one being a trip to Rhyl where we all got caught speeding from a hidden camera van that North Wales were so keen on back then! Anyway I was in my early 20s back then and needed the money for other things so sold the Elise after about 2.5 years of ownership. I always said I’d have another though so now the grownup things like a house, wedding and child are covered I’ve just bought a new Cup 250. I was looking at a factory order Final Edition but they were coming out j
