Newbie question
As the title suggests , a newbie query. I have just bought an S2 Elise , 2007 with the Toyota 1ZZ power unit in ‘ touring spec’. That means electric windows, a radio and , err, not sure what else. Anyway, that is not the subject of the query. The car is blue with a cream interior. The latter I don’t plan to keep. LPW100181 K Series Oil Filters - 15% Extra Free
AND FREE IS NOT GOOD IN THIS CASE !!! MG Rover have changed the LPW100181 oil filters which were / are the "OEM" filter for the K Series and they are now 15% longer, that's 13 mm. We used to stock and sell loads of the original filters, but not any more they are just too long. I'm trying to get organised for once!! My MOT and next service are due in the first couple of weeks in May so I want to get my car booked in somewhere early. I bought the car from Lotus Silverstone, so my gut is to take it to them as any issues that 'appear' might be covered under warranty and I'll also be in a slightly better position to negotiate rates on any work that does need doing!! A service quoted £368. MOT £75 (inc 0.2 hrs to take it to the test station!!) This leads me to
