This really does need to be done properly on a performance car. Obvious suggestions are wheel balance, loose / worn suspension parts, possibly wheel bearings, check your tyre pressures.

I believe the Exige wheels can foul the rear wheel arches on an S1. You would have to file the wheelarch where they touch. They are not cheap and very rare to find a full set nowadays.
