Finished job.... nearly. I have to adjust the windows to close more accurately and I'm going to try and tighten up the speaker pods which have a bit of a buzz. Not a bad job for a weeks work in spare time.

While my car was in the body shop, I decided to give the under trays some special treatment. I wonder how long the shine will last under here.

Bonnets both adjusted carefully to ensure they will pop open easily first time. I might have given the engine shiny bits an extra polish!

Thursday night was spent doing relatively simple things like reinstalling the speaker pods and then the passenger seat and seat belt. Friday night I fitted the front and rear bonnets and gave her a pre-MOT check over... only to find the horn had died. Unfortunately, access to the horn was now only via the front under tray. Not quite the Friday night I had planned!

Door fitting Monday night. Hugely awkward getting bolts fitted through spacers, then through the two holes at the end of the door beam, and then into the captive nut inside the door shell.

Adjusting the striker pin is a time consuming step too. Having also replaced the door seals, things are a little tight at the moment.

Two hours for the drivers door, about 1 1/4hr for the passenger.

It is only resting in position here.
