I have some minor front clam damage I need to get sorted. Does anyone have any experience of 'Harlequin Motors' body shop in Leicester? They were recommended by CD Bramall/Storm for Lotus approved repairs but I'd like to be reassured by someone with actual experience. Or, are there any other good bodyshops around the area? Cheers, Rob

As some of you may know, Im in the market for a louder s/s exhaust. Got the Magnex which is very refined, but too quiet for my liking. Doing some research and called up Eliseparts about costs and DB levels(which is a limitation due to the prospect of tracking at Bedford which is the strictest circuit) Apparently about 3 weeks ago, they started shipping a new exhaust which "sounds more like a TVR" - "Low and burbly". The complaint about the previous Eliseparts was that it was LOUD and quite tinny. The new one is apparently 3-4db quieter with completely different characteristics. Not sure how it compares to a Janspeed but would be very interested.. The price is…

Planning on getting a full set of Toyos soon. Was gonna get them from mytyres, which leaves the obvious problem of getting them fitted. Can anyone recommend a good tyre fitter in the Nottingham area or do you just tend to use the most convenient one? Also I know its a long shot but anyone interested in my front PZeros when I do change? About 5mm on them. Cheers A

Does anyone know whether you need to modify this exhaust to fit the std elise s1, some one has told me that because it is mainly for the exige that the tail pipe is too long for the elise clam so it sticks out quite a way and that you would need to cut the pipe and then weld the oval end back on. cheers

Lotus have finally started pushing some information through the dealers, but it seems at the moment that is all that is happening. Some dealers have reported to Southrun that although some are taking bookings for initial inspection, there are no parts available and in some cases, the training has not been arranged with the dealers to carry out the work, so expect some further delays. Estimates for inspections are looking at mid July, although there is no news on the expected delivery for parts. As usual, the Lotus factory have been quiet and have not responded to e-mails This info came from the southrun lotus boys thought it would be helpfull to us up here a…

My car just failed it's MOT because the rear fog light didn't work. They offered to put a new bulb in there and then, but couldn't get to it because those wonderful screws that hold the rear mesh in place are rusty as hell and won't come out - they just sit there turning. How the hell am I going to get them out and then replace them?

Anyone know the spec for the rear Bridgestone Potenza tyres for an S2. Are they 225/45/R17? Also what code do I need to specify to ensure I get the correct Lotus tyres. Cheers

Havent got one have we. Sorry but its novice to me again being in elise ownership world. What do people do with regards to spare tyres. Last car I had Toyos fitted and the place down the road did them so no problem there. All of a sudden I have these Yoko Neova things. Where do I get one from quick sharp if i get a puncture and how much do they cost front/rear ? Thanks. Jon. (no one around tonight?)

I've found a garage that will supply me with 205/55/16 Advan Neova for £65 each. Got a feeling they're not quite the right tyre for the Elise. For a start it's not a Lotus garage. Anyone know what the exact spec should be? Should there be a Lotus reference? Unfortunately he can't get the fronts at a good price, but we all know it's the rears that wear faster.
