I've found it hard to find someone local to fit viper stripes so I'm going to try it myself. Our old friend Ollie is supplying the vinyl in 5 metre long widths for a very reasonable price. Any volunteers to help fit it, laugh at my attempt, or give some useless advice in Nottingham? It will probably have to be one night next week or the weekend after (10-11 July) as the Elise is in NW. Following all the recommendations on this site for Horizon Motorsport, I got my Elise booked in for a service, including new cambelt, tyres and some other bits! Very impressed with the levels of customer care, skill etc. and having the car collected and redelivered was just fantastic for me! A lovely couple of people too, with time to chat over a cup of tea, they deserve to live long & prosper!! So, thank you everyone here for steering me the right way, and thanks to Horizon for doing what you all said they would! Richard

Just seen this in a recent Coventry Observer (17th June 2004) and thought people may find it interesting. 'Motorists in warwickshire now have the chance to find out the location of EVERY speed camera in the midlands.....a free CD-ROM which details 1,100 fixed and mobile speed cameras in the midlands has been launched in conjunction with the council and local police forces.' For a copy of the CD-ROM e-mail: [email protected] or send a SAE to; Adam Warwick, west mids casualty reduction partnership, lloyd house, colmore, circus Queensway, birmingham, B4 6NQ Enjoy Alexander

Well, this is what she looked like when I last saw her in the repair shop New rear subframe, new upper and lower wishbones and new Wheel. Now this is where I'm concerned. When replacing the wheel they've obviously replaced the tyre for that side. What I'm worried about though is whether they will put a new one on the other side. Surely they cant just replace one tyre and leave a half worn tyre on the other side? I asked the lady on reception and she said she didn't know whether they would do the other one, but in most cases usually not Whats everyone think? Just waiting for bloody bolts to fix the body on from Lotus now! Dave

Plea for a bit of help and advice please. I'm looking to upgrade my PC since I am getting a bit p'd off with the frequency of failures (for example, last night the bloody thing wouldn't boot properly and had to be stripped down, left off for ten hours and then re-set up using safe mode), and so have a couple of questions. I also want to get an ipod and my current machine runs on ME which doesn't fare well with ipods if I have been properly informed. So, what should I be looking for? What is the difference between USB and firewire? I am likely to need lots of USB ports anyway since I have so many peripherals (printer, scanner, camera, iPAQ etc). Machine w…

Was thinking initially of caps, but we could do beenie hats for winter, T-shirts, track tops etc, etc. We can get pretty much any thing from this place done - www.cherry-pie.co.uk Whats everyone think? I'd be up for a cap, T-shirt and some kind of track top or something
