We're currently offering a 20% discount on the labour element for any work - servicing, upgrades, repairs, restorations - carried out in our main workshop between now and Friday 1st March 2024. Happy New year everyone. Hope you all have a great 2024 driving or showing your Lotus car. We did our drive around Europe last year in the Europa, just over 2600 miles. For 2024 we have current plans for the Lotus. Do you have any adventures planned?

Merry Christmas everyone. I hope you all have the best Christmas you possibly can. Love those you are spending it with, remember lovingly those you can’t be with you. May Santa bring you a tank that never runs dry, speed that makes you feel you can fly, tyres you can always rely on and bends stretching to the horizon.

Hi All I'm looking for an experienced Auto Electricain in the Matlock/Bakewell/Chesterfield area. Seems to be difficult to find one who hasn't at some point got a review which goes along the lines of 'cost me a lot of money and didn't fix the problem'. Obviously keen to avoid this scenario. Not Lotus related (thank goodness!). Any pointers much appreciated. Hartley

Evening, Like to first introduce myself I'm Theo Clives son posting this on his behalf. As many of you may know or didn’t know that our Dad/ Clive had been battling cancer quietly for some years. It feels right to let people know that in the early hours of this morning after being taken ill sadly he passed away. Peacefully, with family supporting him at his bedside after losing his final battle with cancer. He touched the hearts and souls of so many but will always live on in the memories of those he did.

I’m so close to upgrading my Elise S2 to an Exige Sport 350. I’ve been offered £15k p/ex against a £43k Exige!! This is a cash deal so I guess the dealership isn’t interested as there is no finance commission etc….. to be earned. Apparently, £15k is the going price!!! I fully appreciate and understand how p/ex works but this is a bloody insult. So come on, show me an Elise S2 (08MY) with 43,000 miles on the clock for £15k. I can’t find one. Packet of Hobnobs for the winner.

Many thanks to Hartleyj and Deanb for their swift replies and for pointing me to Paul at PJS sports cars. Yes he is a straight guy and has agreed to take a look, so will let you know how we get on. Out of interest does any one know where MOY 286 L is? It was the car I built.

Hi, My T49 will be on the LDC stand at the upcoming NEC classic car show in Nov. Been busy getting it ready, with a deep clean, replacing a tatty piece of gold tape on the passenger door, replacing the headlight covers seals and outer tape, engine bay back to black applied etc 1st time I've ever clay barred a car body and then I decided to apply a ceramic coating. Still got a few jobs to do, but by and large it's finished, and happy with the results. Cheers

Hello, everyone, I'm turning to this community in search of advice and recommendations. I've encountered an unexpected challenge with my vehicle's transmission. It's recently become quite hesitant when attempting to shift into the top gear, often resulting in excessive revving before finally making the transition with a noticeable jolt. It feels like I'm approaching the day when "Top Gear" is just a TV show for me, even though I've heard it's nearing its end. I'm contemplating the necessity of a transmission repair or replacement, but the impending cost is a source of concern, especially if I were to consider a Hyundai service center. Have any of you explored al…
