Ypres 13

Just back from the Belgian Lotus groups "Ypres Lotus Day" I'm not much of a photographer and apologise in advance for the pics, but it does give a rough idea of the event. If any of you ever have the chance to attend this event you won't be disappointed ( same date every year). Ypres and the surrounding area are lovely places to visit and drive, there is so much history to take in, the people are wonderful, as is the food and in Belgium Stella Artois is considered to be a low alcohol beverage, Posted Image

The day starts with a meet in Ypres, followed by a full days run out into some of the lesser known areas of the country, some challenging roads with excellent lunch and final meal stops. Over a 100 Lotus from all over Europe.....Lets hope we can beat that at Chatsworth Posted Image

Old Midlands run Help

Just been looking over a few old mloc routes through Wales with a view to organising something for later in the year.
The last Midlands run through Wales was organised by G and Laura I think? Great route with a lunch stop at Aberdovey (Aberdyfi in Welsh), for chips, sadly my group missed the chip stop due to a very busy Aberdovey.
Anyway, there was a stretch on the route that was a really great piece of road but sadly it was in the middle of being resurfaced on that day, lots of workmen and still sticky tarmac, not to mention billions of chippings.
What road was this please, I'm familiar with Welshest Wales but can't remember where that bit was.
Anybody able to help??

Or is this just another piece of sensationalist journalism. Surprised to hear the comment about middle aged owners etc etc, the models of cars in the video don't appear to reflect that?
