Clean area and remove all previous sticky glue stuff, mix a few drops of washing up liquid in a small bowl of water and mix well to create "a few" bubbles, liberally apply soapy water to the required area using a sponge, remove backing from new protectors and place in required area, soapy water will allow you to move the protector and enable you to achieve a final position, when your happy with the position carefully use a credit card to squeegee the water out from under protector, work from the centre outwards, having removed as much water as possible leave the new protector to dry out for 24 hours if possible.
After having done the waist seals you'll find this job extremely easy!
Mentholated spirit is very good for getting rid of the old sticky stuff, and can also double up as a relaxing beverage that you can enjoy whilst admiring your handiwork
