  1. Great progress pal, keep it coming 👍 Ps. Watch yourself on the edges of the nimbus. if its the single skin stuff it needs to be treated like it's an A3 razor blade that wants to hurt you...all the time 😮
  2. I suspect there's a drift which fits perfectly but needs-must and I went all blue peter on it. Those are the RP ones I used initially. Like I said they didn't work for me but that's just my one experience and likewise i could have messed up fitting. I'm sure they'll be fine. On reflection I preferred the oem design as it goes. Tomato tomarto Good luck 👍
  3. Great progress continues. Can I share some experince with the driveshaft seals (?). Many of the current seals are it appears, not made to the same tolerances as the ones your car came with and can leak even if correctly fitted. Makes prepping the surfaces extra important. I personally didn't get on with elise parts upgraded seals. I'd recommend the oem seals and soak them well before fitting, letting the excess drip out over the next few days until it stopped... and giving them a better chance of sealing thereafter. Alternatively I'm sure there's a seloc thread saying there's some honda gearbox seals which fit v. well and are top quality. Oh and I couldn't find a socket correctly sized to tap the seals in with but the old seals fit perfectly inside a new roll of gaffa tape, which I attached to an old engine mount to tap the new seals in through the passenger rear sub-frame. (Or...just have the right tool ! 🤣) Some thoughts and ideas to help you on your way. Keep up the good work 👍
  4. As you've got an Ali radiator I'd suggest yiu go for a prt kit instead. Lower cost option generally good for the engine cooling for a number of reasons with the quicker opening ' grey' thermostat and you could diy fit if you like spannering. 👍https://www.eliseparts.com/shop/cooling/thermostats-sensors/pressure-relief-remote-thermostat-kit/ https://wiki.seloc.org/a/Pressure_Relief_Remote_Thermostat Good luck MrWill
  5. Drive and enjoy it. It'll be fine. Based on your max temp it suggests you have a standard radiator ? I'd get a deeper Ali radiator fitted. You'll be back in the 80s... temp not year 😁
  6. Yes I'd halved them and removed the pistons for painting and curing. But they air dry perfectly and can be cured on the car once the car is built via some bedding in of brake pads / discs 👍
  7. I agree, the silver highlights and identical black caliper bolts might indicate they've been painted before I broke my calipers in half before painting and had good results using e tech XHT. Bonus danger factor of curing them in the oven when boss lady had gone out 👍 easy to rebuild using EP kit. Keep up the good work !
  8. Looking good. keep up the good work 👍
  9. Merry Christmas everyone. Enjoy this one as next year Chrismas is off...according to my MLOC calendar the whole of December has been scrapped. Anyone else got an 11 month 2024 calendar? 😅🤷‍♂️
  10. Heartfelt wishes to you and all of Clives family Theo. I had the pleasure of watching Clive peddle that green k series off into the distance on a few occasions but only chatted to him once. Its a measure of the man that I came away with an indelible thought that id just had the pleasure of meeting one of lifes good guys. Theo, thanks for posting, I'm very sorry for your loss Will
  11. Stickers mate...lots and lots of stickers 😉 Car looks amazing. Super job 👍 MrWill
  12. Top job Ray and your beautiful assistants and of course the rest of the LitP team 👍
  13. I'm sure it's fine and superficial. Long shot because no one on here generally lives nr to Manchester but if you're willing to come up to Manchester 2 or 3 times and occupy yourself for a few hours pub / shopping / reading/ chewing the fat... I'm sure I can clean them up and protect them for you over the course of a couple of visits in the next few months. The cost will be your time on a sat morning, getting up early and maybe letting me have a p/ride in the evora 😉 Just pm me if that's an option for you. MrWill. 👍
