    Hi there, thanks for looking. I am breaking my Honda Civic Type R EP3 K20A2 2002 I bought the car in August 2014 to be a donor for a project - but had a change of plans. It came to me at just under 85K miles and has now just turned 105K miles. The engine and gearbox are absolutely original. It's MOT ran out on 31 10 2020 and I have decided, as sad as it is, to break it as I did an identical one earlier this year, for no other reason they are worth more as parts - I know! Car is currently, mostly ,together and the engine and gearbox can be run/checked/driven - albeit up and down the drive - or run up and down the gears on my ramp. This will not be possible as time goes on so you need to be quick! The engine and box will be lifted out as a unit and can be split to facilitate moving it about. This listing is ONLY for the complete powertrain kit - suitable for a Lotus Elise R conversion donor kit, such as required for a Stark Automotive conversion. Sales includes: Engine K20A2 VTEC 2L Inlet manifold/ Throttle Body - note IVAC actuator needs replacing Thermostat and pipework Water to oil heat exchanger First lambda Sensor - if it will come out! Fuel Rail and injectors Inlet Manifold plastic cover Alternator Starter Motor Aircon Pump will be removed so it will need a shorter AUX belt - I may gave a second hand one Balancer/Intermediate drive shaft and Cover All Engine + Gear Box Sensor inc Inlet Air Temp Sensor Flywheel + Clutch Gearbox + Standard Open Diff Clutch Slave Cylinder Gear Knob Engine Harness ECU Chassis Side ECU Connector "E" to bare ends In my ownership it was treated to regular Shell fully Synthetic oil changes - it starts on the button, pulls like mad, no blue smoke, no rattles or crunches. Uses a little oil as they all do. No oil or water leaks. 100% reliable and never let me down. Now at >100K miles it would benefit from timing chain, guide and tensioner - available as a kit and SO much easier out of the car. If you don't want the kit as above I will happily modify the listing when we have agreed a price. I have most of a EP43 available too - message me and I will point you to my eBay listings. 100% COLLECTION ONLY. I am based on the A1, just South of Grantham in the East Midlands.     Came off my Lotus Elise Series 1 that 1 have owned for 18 years and has Just turned 43,230 miles. This was ported to match the PTP 140 spec head on the engine I am also selling. What you see in the pictures is what you get. It's reday to bolt on, the head gasket is quite new too. The is way better than the OE plastic plenum, it doesn't slip and has a lovely induction rin at about 4,500 rpm!     Everything you need to re-bond and rivet back on the Longerons to your rear sub frame of your Lotus elise. This was all used for the first time today (24/3/2019) and has a shelf life of a couple of months. More than enough to do about ten more pairs. I am selling at half the price it all cost me. You clean surface with 205 (suitable for steel, galvanised steel, aluminium and anodised aluminium), prime with 207 and apply the adhesive 221. You then rivet immediately to provide the compression. I did my research.I will include the documentation I printed off that goes will it all. This lot cost me £70.00. grab a bargain. Chemicals and rivets only - sub frame and Longerons NOT included. I have thrown in 8 stainless steel rivets - couple of spares. Happy bonding.

    I’m selling the fully working – very well in fact – sensibly slightly modified Rover 1.8 K-Series out of my Lotus Elise Series 1. I have owned it for over 18 years. Just turned 43,230 miles in a 19 year old car this month! It’s a well looked after, known quantity. It has been very carefully removed from the car and lightly cleaned up. Dynoned last month at Area 52 it made a very impressive 132.8HP at the flywheel, pulling cleaning with a great flat torque cure - max 132 Ftlb. Cracking. I think it would have made more if the side scoop had had a fan blowing air into the air filter pick up. · Full engine with professionally ported and flowed cylinder head (cost £350) - similar spec to the PTP 140 head that was nearly £1,500 in it’s day! (CAM belt and idler were changed on schedule) Motorsport (High quality) head gasket fitted at same time of above work NOT included in this sale, but listed separately, that was all running together – effectively the Lotus Sport 135 spec is · VCC Metal inlet plenum connected to inlet manifold and head – recent new inlet gasket fitted Fuel Rail and Injectors and Trophy (larger) metal throttle body · Lots of other parts to that I will list as I get to them . Note the Close ration gearbox and lightened flywheel have been sold. This sale is for the engine only - what you see in the pictures. Mega together and one of the best performing, value for money reliable specs for the K–Series. Happy to agree a deal on what is available at the time. The head work, inlet plenum and close ratio gearbox (plus lightened) flywheel take this to what was the PTP 140 (Lotus Sport 135) Spec. Quick car was made even quicker. Collection only – sold as seen – no warranty or returns. I have been as open and honest as I can be and I will provide any documentation that I have. Starts on the button, revs cleanly, passes an MOT every year, burns no oil. Runs at 86 degrees all day long. Never missed a beat. Always warned up gently – never thrashed and has never wanted for everything. Perfect to fit into an Elise project, an MGF, other various Rovers, kit car or several other cars. I was always going to change the main crank oil seal when it needed a clutch as the original ones are not great and tended to weep – which I think mine is. I would all ways fit a new 3-piece clutch if you are splitting the gearbox from the engine too. Other than that it is a cracker. I am open to sensible offers.
