  1. Merry Christmas everyone. I hope you all have the best Christmas you possibly can. Love those you are spending it with, remember lovingly those you can’t be with you. May Santa bring you a tank that never runs dry, speed that makes you feel you can fly, tyres you can always rely on and bends stretching to the horizon.
  2. Sorry to hear of your sad loss. It’s clear that Clive was well loved within the club and many, including me, will carry a great number of happy memories of the times spent in his company. Clive will go on in the thoughts and hearts of all those here who knew him and will be missed. I too remember the smiles, jolly demeanour, the crème eggs and the sight of his green S2 on many many runs. It would be an honour to be part of the parade.
  3. Someone been making puddles again!
  4. Hello Barry, welcome. I was (still am) a fan of the S2000 and drove them for 10 years, half of that time it was my only car! Early Evoras had a few teething issues, but these were ironed out long before the 400 was launched. The 400 is a nice stable and secure ride and certainly an everyday car. It changes character in sports mode and becomes an exciting drive. It is without a doubt a great step into the brand and is full of the things that make Lotus magical. You will get all the things that journalists wax lyrical about when driving Lotus cars with a softened and more civilised edge. Have you driven one yet? As I’m sure you probably know, you tuber JayEmm launched his channel with a Yellow 400 and produced loads of content on it.
  5. I clicked on the directions on their website and the location was about 7 miles adrift! Use the postcode!
  6. The frames are pretty standard for the LiTP posters, 40x50cm, they are sold everywhere. The posters are A3, so I got the mounts cut to order. The 75th anniversary poster is A2 so used a standard 50x70cm frame, again with a custom mount. You can get frames A3 and A2 size, but I think a mount makes things look better, and it gives you a wider variety of frames to choose from. Custom mounts are way cheaper than custom frames! The four frames and cut mounts cost around £70 and I used Elliotts in Lincoln. Thank you for your lovely comments.
  7. Thanks for the LiTP posters. Got a little garage gallery going on. Makes me a bit of a sad fanboy I guess.
  8. Such a stunning car,Dave. All that hard work has clearly been worth it. Great to see it. Glad it drives as you want. Hope to be able to take more time looking over it next time I see it, fingers crossed, soon.
  9. Saw this waiting for the Pootle from my room on Saturday morning
