Eliseparts were the cheapest place i could find (including delivery) for Toyo 888's and they arrived the next day.

Great service as always.

I know this one really divides opinion. I'm just about to put new tyres on the car and have been thinking about painting the lettering on the tyres for ages. Quick photoshop before I potentially do it next week.....

Wheel Refurb

As most of you know i'm not too fussed about the appearence of my car, I prefer to spend all my money on mechanical bits but....

The wheels are starting to look a real mess and a couple of them are starting to peel.  I'm due some new tyres so i thought it was an ideal time to get them refurbed.

If I'm getting them done though I want it done properly, with them stripped back to the metal and then powder coated / painted in satin black (Not just someone in a car park touching them up).

Does anyone know if the original S2 Exige black wheels are powder coated or painted orignally?

I've had a good google around but just wondering if anyone has an personal recommendations and also how much you paid.  These are two I've just asked for quotes from

Exhaust Pipe Goes Pink When Being Thrashed

Now no S2 being gay jokes.....

When I drive my car on track the soot residue inside and on the lip of my exige exhasut pipe is a light pink colour.

It's a n/a toyota engine with sports cat and 2bular exhaust, lotus sport ecu with trd flter. Is this normal or a sign of something e.g running to lean etc?

BTW The car is running really well at the moment and is pretty quick.

This only happens when driving on track at high revs etc. When on the road it produces very little soot but its black.
