  1. Anyone know where I can get a replacement rubber gasket that goes between the screenwash bottle and pump? Mine is leaking.....😢 Car is Elise 111R. See attached photo. Thanks, Baz
  2. I agree with all that has been said about Jon, great bloke. I took my 111R to Jon for a Service and then later, an MOT, which required a steering rack recon. He held onto the car for a few days and managed to fit in with my awkward dates so I could have the MOT done a full month before due (so qualifying for a year and a month until next MOT). Unfortunately, I don't drive it very often... but got the chance to take it to a wedding over the weekend! I can report that it drives just as an Elise should, lovely. I recommend Jon and he is now my go-to-guy for anything related to the car... someone I hadn't found in my 6-7 years of ownership! Baz

    Vehicle Tax

As of the 13 March 2008, the vehicle tax is now based on fuel type and CO2 emissions for cars registered after 1 March 2001. A list of the bands can be found on the Government website Directgov Cars registered prior to 1 March 2001 are taxed based on their engine size, which is easy to find out. However, if your car is registered after 1 March 2001, the following links can be used to find out your cars' CO2 emissions and which band it resides: Car fuel data- A general make and model lookup database . Vehicle Enquiry page on the DVLAs Vehicle Licensing website - Specific car lookup.
  5. Noticed this connector in the passenger footwell? (This being a 2004 111R) It's actually a diagnostic connector, so don't worry, it's not a connection that has come loose! A device, such as an ODBKey, can be attached and used to monitor vehicle information from the ECU.
