I was reading a thread about charge-cooler system etc which uses this type of electric pump:
http://www.jjcracean...tric-water-pump
Since I have a EP remote thermostat, the coolant small loop (cockpit heater matrix) is always opened so I was thinking that it should be easy to remove a hose in the front compartment and introduce such pump there and run some wires with a control switch.
Like that, after a track session, i could leave it switch on while the engine is off and the free running coolant would dissipate the extra heat.
What do you think?
Cheers

just out of interest, since the toyota engine failure is not a legend, i was wondering whether or not, some people had rebuild their engine with increased capacity... 1.9 or 2 .0 L
I know Bourcier (lotus cup winner) did a 111R evo2.0 and the initial feedback was good.
i believe the 2.0L was [bigger cylinder bore + longer stroke]
These guys in the US sell the 1.9 with longer stroke and forged bits

In a 111R or exige, it could be interesting. In a SC or exige Cup, it could be very interesting...
honda beater?

Electrical And Earth With Our Cars?
04 November 2012 - 09:48 AM
Hello
I was reading a french website about earth issues with aluminium chassis car. Some people mentioned "masse pieuvre" which translates litteraly to "octopus earth" but spider earth may be more representative.
Anyway, failing with the translated description, a picture will be much better:

Or

Basically, it's a bunch of earth cable joint together and mounted on various key point (engine, gearbox, lighting etc...)
So, the question would be: would this improve the poor earth on our cars and if so, where would you connect them to? Has it been tried?
Cheers
