There used to be a select few cars which would just go on for ever without breaking down or costing a fortune.
Looking now and every car seems to have a catalogue of expensive repairs and consistent failures.
e.g. Mondeo = clutch, dual mass flywheel, injectors on the TDI; BMW = timing chain, i-drive, suspension, swirl flaps ...
Are there any gems out there which are ultra reliable and cost peanuts to own?

Are There Any Reliable Cars Anymore?

With Lotus on its knees and no different new models on the horizon (no the v6 exige doesn't count) they need to produce another company saving model. So as it's Christmas and you'll all be bored over the next few days. How about saving them the cost of designing a winning car and come up with your own design for a Lotus that would see you get rid of the current one and buy the new one.
Lets see how realistic expectations and costs are with its current fan base.

Forged Alloy Wheel Refurb - Recommend

I have a set of TMRs which due to my penchant for gravel traps need repainting (just surface chips) and polishing.
Any recommended companies who'll do a good job and take care of them, nr Newark / Lincoln?
These are very light and cost an absolute fortune, so must not come back warped or damaged in any way.
