Martin R
http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/127717/donington-taken-over-by-palmer-msv Interesting, should mean lots of trackdays at Donny though.
AlanS1
Hopefully they do not ruin it. But from visiting other circuits that they own they are looked after very well and have some good facilities. Some better priced track days there would be very welcome
Martin R
I have done a couple of MSV days and like them. Well run and mannered and its nice mixing with different cars for a change. Im doing Snetterton on the 11th of March with them.
Steve J
Let's hope they don't make the db restrictions even more stringent then.
Dr H
Let's hope they don't make the db restrictions even more stringent then. That's a Council thing isn't it? Not set by the track but by the Local Authority.
@ndy
This can only mean positive things for Donny, MSV circuits are well run and typically have great facilities. Leigh is correct in regards to noise levels, this is administered by local authorities
Daveb99
If they bring back the Dunlop bridge they have an army of friends for life Good news for Donington methinks. Would be interested in Paul's view on this (or Dave, as you lot call him...!)....
Dr H
Good poitn Dave. They really need to get that bridge back - it's iconic. Chris Evans bought it back in 2012 didn;t he? Wonder where it is now. They also need the Spitfire and the Bluebird on the bridge just after the old hairpin. They were removed as well weren't they? jody391
Isn't the Dunlop bridge at the back of the circuit in a hanger in sections? Chris bought it for £300 did he not?
DeanB
MSV have always impressed me as an excellent outfit. I think it can only be good news for Donington.
Steve J
I meant the council takes the opportunity of a new owner to impose tighter noise limitations.

If a lot of the locals had their way it would be reduced. I mean fancy moving into a house near a race track and then find out you can hear it! It's just not fair on the pooring darlings

I mean fancy moving into a house near a race track and then find out you can hear it! It's just not fair on the pooring darlings I still find it incredible this happens..... It's the same with the airport. Development of new houses gets built then all of a sudden there's complaints... Do people hand over hundreds of thousands pounds before doing their homework on the area. Back on topic, I hope all the staff especially Paul get looked after in the transition. Fingers crossed buddy.

Possibly, but more likely they are self-important fuck heads who think if the whinge long and hard enough then they will win. Unfortunately sometimes they do win, and I have never understood why. Steve J
It's a compensation culture. See if you can get something for free by making someone else responsible. Always liked Donington before they messed about with it.
