Farewell But Not Goodbye

We are moving to northern Scotland next week & thought I’d say farewell but hopefully not goodbye to MLOC. You really are a great bunch & though my input is limited I have enjoyed the meetings I have made with the genuine & thoroughly nice group of people that is MLOC.

My car will no doubt see more miles per year than it does presently(!) on the amazing & quiet roads within reach of our new abode & it is an intention to make it that way.

I was caught this week by RichBK trying to abduct Gav from Unit4blush.png. I’m going to miss his input & 470 miles would be quite a push! May have to get him to do a holiday once a year with a car service based lodgings agreement.

Thanks for the Hassops, Chatsworths, Fish meets, Milf meets, Hethel trips etc. that people have organised in parallel with their busy lives & that I have attended. I will hopefully catch up again in the future. Maybe one summer an MLOC Highland tour could be on the cards! Or possibly as the school hols are different I may even be able to make it to Chatsworth(!?) & pull a service in with Gavrolleyes.gif

May i wish you and your family all the best in your new venture.

We may let you south of the border for Chatsworth 2017, certainly hope to see you there. Would make an epic long weekend for you.

We will have a drink for you at the next Fish Meeting.

Has been a complete pleasure having your company at many Lotus inspired meetings and you were certainly one of the key members at FLEM.

Hope our paths cross again in the future.

Murray, firstly all the best with the house move - exciting times!

I'm sure I'm not alone in saying I'm deeply jealous of your new opportunities to use the Lotus on some of the best roads out there...

You will be missed.....I remember chatting to you at Hethel and the Donington museum this year and though it's a bold move, I am sure it will work out well and you'll soon be settled in as a family and coming on here to talk about how good the fish suppers are up there, and posting photos of empty sweeping roads and lovely sunsets....

All the best buddy - keep in touch.

Congrats and as above I wish you and your family all the best and I hope everything runs smoothly in the move.

Been a pleasure to meet you on the various occasions and like all have said, don't be a stranger.

Ps.....you have thought this through haven't you ........... the roads are filthy up there laugh.png .

Murray you are a true gent and you will be missed!

My dad said to me the other day it's a shame you are going as we seem to be getting less and less good folk and he said he will miss you! As will I and many others.

That Scottish trip sounds a great plan, I would love to do that trip.

Have you got many rooms??

Once again take care and we will see you again! ;)

We will miss you Murray, no doubt about it. It does sound wonderful up there though - daytimes spent driving the Lotus and night times watching Highlander on video and drinking whiskey.

Hope it goes well for you all.

Thanks for the comments guys, they really are appeciated...

We have a double guest only room, en-suite downstairs & the boys each have double rooms upstairs with two beds in each, plus there is some other room, so yes Jody we can & will facilitate a family of four. Please keep this in mind if passing us by & give me a nudge. People are most welcome.

Cheers - Murray

Goodbye Muzza!

It's been a pleasure to get to know yourself, Jane and the Boys.

Myself and Katie wish you all the best in Scotland.

I will miss our summer evening chats on the drive way, while trying to find a spec of dirt on that stunning Exige.

At least we now have an excuse to drive the lotus up to Scotland!

Keep in touch

Alex and Katie
