Phil S1
There's a programme on this coming Sunday, restoring a Lotus Elite. Looks like it's a follow on from the previous series - 'For The Love Of Cars' with Ant Anstead and Philip Glenister...should be good http://www.channel4.com/programmes/the-lost-lotus-restoring-a-race-car

Daveb99
Bloody Nora Colin.... You've just ruined the ending.... :-) How are you, all your custom and gavs bought himself a new body warmer I see..... Nice one Colin, I was looking forward to watching that too....! Can we have the weekend lottery numbers too please? I reckon Gav's bodywarmer was funded from fixing your rattles alone, I have heard that he has booked a round the world trip with the rest of the money

Phil S1
Yeah, apart from a quick bit of sanding, welding of the roll cage and sticking the badge on, there was very little to show all the work that was done. Great car though.
MilesH
Great car, mediocre program. If I'm honest, I enjoyed Grand Tour more and it was the Elite program I was looking forward to the most.
kieranexige
The trouble is 90% of us on here want to see more of the restoration itself... Unfortunately they have to cram a storey into basically 40 minutes. If you look at the new wheeler dealers there's getting less and less content, then when the cars are finished you can see allot more parts have been replaced than they tell or show you.
