Dunno about that one Russ but I use the Odyssey pc something or other. It's about half the weight of the original (saves 6 kg iirc) and can be mounted flat on the boot floor to keep the C-of-g down. It was about £100

I have a Odyssey PC680 relocated from the boot to behind the passenger seat.

You just have to make sure they do not get low on charge.

I have used the Odyssey PC680 like Alan and the Varley Red Top 15 - both have been excellent.

Just make sure you have a decent charger of at least 2.0AMPS (not a cheap one they destroy them), and don't leave them on constant trickle, you just charge them fully and disconnect and they can be left for months without use.

another odyssey user here, so much lighter, and makes more room in the boot for shopping ;).

cost me £90 last year from t'internet. use a ctek trickle charger to keep it topped up

I fitted a JMT lithium ion battery to my S2 0.8 kgs.

Run it all year with no problems. Ran the same one on my single seater.

Have you any more details please. Model number ? price ? ( I expect they are nose bleed expensive ! )

Cheers

Russ.
