Chris_edeson
Hey gang What's the best oil to use in a k series? Need to top mine up and don't want to put any old crap in it! Thanks
un1eash
Im using 15w50 fully synth Motul ordered from Graeme Laslett on here. 5w40 fully synth is also recommended for the k series.
Phil S1
If you're only topping up then ideally use the same as you already have in.
Steve J
Any synthetic 5w40. 15w50 is too thick unless for a VHPD or a track only modified engine.
James Salt
In the handbook, 10w60 or 15w50 off top of my head. I use 10w60 Mobil one fully synthetic

graeme_laslett
Hey gang What's the best oil to use in a k series? Need to top mine up and don't want to put any old crap in it! Thanks Hi Chris It all depends on what you do with the car? If it is a standard K Series, used all year round, then a decent 5w40 like the Titan SuperSyn is ideal. A great oil, and will hold up for the odd trackday too. If you have a modified engine or a VVC then the Pro Race S 10w50 is perfect, again will suit the car if it's used on road or track. Heavily modified engines, VVC and VHPD that are used more on track than road, then go for the Motul 15w50 or the Pro Race R. We have stock of all the above and will beat any other supplier on price. Drop me a message if you are interested. Cheers Graeme Car Service Packs
