@ndy
I've been running CL RC5+ for the past 10 months and I'm very happy with how they perform on track, however I'm surprised they have worn out after 6 TD's, 3 sprint events and no more than 150 miles on the road ! Although I've had no problems with them crumbling I do have concerns after reading all the bad press still on SELOC and wondered what are the alternatives with the same performance ? Anyone running Performance Friction mainly on track and if so which ones ? Cheers @ndy
jody391
Andy which discs are you running? I've just fitted rc5+ on the front (295 discs) and rc6 rear with Elise parts discs at the rear and by Christ do they stop! It's brough the braking balance towards the rear as I wanted and it's mega. No idea on the wear rate yet though.
G
RC6's are awesome, best pads I have tried. But they absolutely ate my front AP discs so I switched back to RC5's and now happy with standard Pagid RS14. That sounds like a good setup tho Jody!! Looks like the RC6 have a lower wear rate than the RC5+, Might give them a go all round
cjwjames
I had RC6 on the Exige ( and there does not seem to be any bad press at the time about rc6 ) But they are more an endurance focused pad they eat disks but stop you up on a postage stamp Any sintered pad will eat disks thou I hope this helps Andy Regards Colin

worldwidewebs
The best pads I've ever used, and by some distance, were Carbotech XP8.
Steve J
RS15 were high friction some thought too high giving an on off feel to the brakes.
scatty
The best pads I've ever used, and by some distance, were Carbotech XP8. I had some xp10 on my evo... Carbotech are an awesome pad I agree.... Although the tens squealed like a mating pig....
jonnyfox
Personally I think you should try PF pads Andy. I haven't tried CL pads, nor have I used PF pads unassisted but I reckon you wouldn't see any loss in performance and you'd be able to give us proper feedback. @ndy
Thanks for all the feedback..... I've gone with RC5+ on the front and RC6 on the rear, Only used on the road for about 20 miles but can definitely feel the brake balance change. Not sure it was a good idea thou ahead of a sprint event tomorrow !
