Absolute disgrace. Shocking ball control all over the pitch. Awful over hit free kicks, rubbish passing.

 

I thought it could be a cagey game - if we had turned up it might have been....instead we completely capitulated.

 

Hodgson has to take some blame though. Wilshere shouldn't have been there. Why wait until 86 minutes to put on Marcus Rashford?

 

Total embarrassment and Hodgson not even man enough to take any questions about the match itself. Very poor indeed.

And another thing, if we had (by some utter miracle) scored a very late equaliser, possibly heading for penalties, Rooney was off the pitch.....not a good idea when you need your captain in extra time.

 

Basic, and quite frankly crap decisions. I know very little about Football but have suffered watching England in every major tournament since the 1982 World Cup, so 34 years. Some bad losses over the years but I don't think I've ever seen us lose like that - they forgot how to kick the ball in the last 15 minutes, literally.

 

Oh, and according to Roy, he's had a "fantastic journey" as manager.

 

He must have a very different dictionary on his bookshelf to me.
